BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) operate the Hay Point Coal Terminal in Mackay. The site has been operational for over twenty years and numerous potentially contaminating activities have been undertaken at the site. BMA engaged S&G to undertake a detailed conceptual hydrogeological investigation of the facility, to recommend the installation of additional monitoring wells and to prioritise further assessment and risk based remedial activities.
